    • PURPOSE: A device for recognizing incoming vibration of a portable terminal and a method for operating the same are provided to allow the portable terminal under a vibration mode to sense the vibration by incoming signals and transmit the sensed state in wireless signals of additionally allocated frequency, so as to receive and display the incoming by a small receiver of a user. CONSTITUTION: In a transmitting unit(100), a monitoring part(110) senses the vibration of a portable terminal. An amplifying part(120) amplifies sensed signals to a predetermined level. The first processing part(130) analyzes the signals outputted from the amplifying part(120) to detect vibration signals by incoming signals, and outputs the detected vibration signals together with a corresponding ID. And the first RF(Radio Frequency) part(140) up-converts the signals outputted from the first processing part(130) to RF signals and wirelessly outputs the up-converted signals. In a receiving unit(200), the second RF part(210) receives and detects then outputs signals transmitted from the first RF part(140). The second processing part(220) receives and analyzes output signals of the second RF part(210), to output a corresponding control signal if the received ID is identical with a memorized ID. And a displaying part(230) receives signals outputted from the second processing part(220) for displaying in light, sound and vibration.

    • An apparatus and method for recognizing call termination to a mobile communication terminal in a vibration mode, wherein a user can recognize reception of an incoming call signal by the terminal in the vibration mode without using the terminal directly. The call termination recognition apparatus comprises a transmitter (100) fixedly attached to the mobile communication terminal for sensing a vibration based on the incoming call signal, analyzing the sensed vibration and transmitting a predetermined radio frequency signal as a result of the analysis, and a receiver (200) for receiving the predetermined radio frequency signal transmitted from the transmitter, analyzing it and providing an indication of the analyzed result to the user. The transmitter includes a vibration sensor (110), an amplifier (120), a first processor (130) and a first radio frequency module (140), and the receiver includes a second radio frequency module (210), a second processor (220) and an indicator (230).
