    • An alcohol meter which measures the concentration of alcohol in blood using a carboxyl nano particle of Bipyridium base is provided to improve the measuring accuracy of alcohol concentration in blood through the direct collection of blood. An alcohol meter which measures the alcohol concentration in blood comprises carboxyl nano particle of Bipyridium base. A cadmium selenite nano particle is produced by binding carboxyl group with the quencher of Bipyridium base. The alcohol concentration (ethanol in blood) is measured through measuring the intensity change of light by the quencher. The photoluminescence intensity of the cadmium selenide is increased by reaction between ethanol in blood and carboxylic group and falling off from cadmium selenide nano particle. The carboxylic nano particle of Bipyridium base is inserted in a solution form. The meter using nano particle solution comprises light source and photoluminescence detector in one type.
