    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber containing heat-reflective particles having infrared ray-reflective function.SOLUTION: It has been found that, by including a fiber with metal oxide particles of high sphericity in the process of producing the fiber, the fiber can be imparted with heat-reflective function. As the fiber can exhibit high heat-ray reflectivity, clothing produced using the fiber is prevented from heat generation by the infrared rays of sunlight; thus, a person wearing the clothing feels cool even under intense sunshine such as outdoors in summer and can spend comfortably.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent electric wire coating material to which a heat reflective function is imparted, since polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, fluororesin, polyester and the like are widely used for the coating material of an electric wire and a cable, however, as for the coating material used for an outdoor electric wire, deterioration caused by infrared of sunlight becomes a problem in terms of both safety and a cost.SOLUTION: It is found that heat reflective effect can be materialized by giving a layer containing spherical metal oxide particles having high sphericity to at least one face side of the surface of the coating material of the electric wire and the cable. Thus, an insulating material is prevented from being deteriorated by heat to extend the lifetime of the electric wire and the cable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel material which enhances a heat reflexible function by giving a heat reflexing layer to a panel material which is a building material at a fabrication stage to improve cooling and heating efficiencies of buildings, in consideration of actual conditions where an improvement in cooling and heating efficiencies becomes a global problem in recent years by an increase of consciousness, strengthening regulations, etc. to enviromental problems, and developments of building materials having high heat shielding effects are desired.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of giving the heat reflexing layer to the panel material used as the building material. As a method for giving a heat ray reflexible layer on the surface of the panel for building, spherical metal oxide particles are adopted.
