    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food conveying apparatus capable of efficiently conveying foods from a kitchen to a guest room.
      SOLUTION: A plurality of conveyers 251, L1-L16 are provided for conveying the foods from the kitchen to tables T1-T12 in the guest room. An identifier provided on a food dish determines a kind of the food conveyed on each of the conveyers 251, L1-L16. A passage of the foods conveyed by the conveyers 251, L1-L16 is switched by switching members S1-S6 and others from order contents on each guest recorded in a database and the kind of the food judged. The change member changes the passage of the foods by being brought into contact with a high-base part of the dish.

      SOLUTION: When a menu tag 121 preceding sushi plates 119 indicating the type of sushi foods passes through a guest gate sensor 105, a communication is made between the menu tag 121 and the sensor 105 to specify the type of the sushi foods. Moreover, the number of sushi plates 119 following each menu tag 121 is counted with a plate count sensor 103. Thus, the number of the plates per type of sushi foods is managed with a managing server 117. When passing through an ejection gate sensor 107, the menu tag 121 judges whether the time passed from the start of supplying the sushi foods involved is proper or not and when the time obtained exceeds specified time, the menu tag 121 directs the ejection gate sensor 107 to eject the sushi foods plate 119, thereby managing the freshness of the sushi foods.
