摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper staple for stapling a corrugated cardboard resistant to water wetting, having strength capable of bearing a heavy article, and allowing miniaturization and weight reduction of a fastening device.SOLUTION: A paper staple 10 includes a paper material to which waterproof processing is applied, and includes a body part 12 and a pair of legs 14, 16 to be bent at both ends of the body part. An optional logotype 26 is formed at the body part 12. Loops 22 of a plastic-made hook-and-loop fastener 20 are provided at a leg outer surface 14A. Hooks 24 of the hook-and-loop fastener 20 are provided at a leg inner surface 16B. The paper staple 10 is set to a fastening device 50. A cut-out hole 46 is provided in stacked corrugated cardboard 42, 44 so that the legs 14, 16 penetrate therethrough, and the hook-and-loop fastener 20 is coupled at the backside of the corrugated cardboard 44 to fasten the corrugated cardboard 42, 44. Accordingly, it is resistant to water wetting, has the strength capable of bearing a heavy article, and allows miniaturization and weight of the fastening device 50.
