摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving body detection device capable of reducing a processing load for detecting a moving body moving in an imaging region being captured by an imaging apparatus, and of ensuring the accuracy of detecting the moving body as well.
SOLUTION: The moving body detection device 1 detects a moving body, such as a human or a vehicle, passing through each detection point preset in an imaging area of a video camera 2 according to a change in brightness. Upon detection of a moving body passing through a detection point, the moving body detection device 1 inputs a release signal to a digital still camera 3. In response to this, the digital still camera 3 captures the imaging region and its still image is input to the moving body detection device 1. The moving body detection device 1 stores the still image input from the digital still camera 3. The moving body detection device 1 also stores a moving image input from the video camera 2 only for a fixed time after the detection of the moving body passing through the detection point.
