    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling mold replacement device capable of replacing two sets of molds in a short time in mold replacement of a two-material injection molding machine having two molds, that is, a movable template side mold and a fixed template side mold, or a molding machine for a stack mold.
      SOLUTION: The device is provided with a mold replacing truck 1 movable along a guide rail 2 arranged close to and parallel to the injection molding machine 10, a plurality of loading platforms 1a-1d capable of simultaneously mounting at least three sets of the molds 1-4, and free roller belt conveyers 60L and 60R for carrying in and out the mold between the adjacent injection molding machines disposed on all of the loading platforms. Both of the round travelling time of the mold replacing truck 1 and the mold re-loading work time can be dispensed with, stop time by replacement of the mold of the injection molding machine can be drastically reduced, and the mold for replacement for a plurality of the molding machines can be simultaneously installed, and therefore, the mold re-loading work time in a warehouse can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for replacing the mold of an injection molding machine which is simple in structure, can smoothly replace the mold without damaging a temperature adjustment cord connected to the mold, and shortens the downtime of the molding machine.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus has a mold transportation stand 20 installed beside the injection molding machine 10 and a mold carrying mechanism 30 which carries a mold 14 in the molding machine 10 onto the stand 20 and carries a mold 15 for replacement on the stand 20 into the molding machine 10. The temperature adjustment cord 42 which is extended from a hot runner temperature adjusting machine 40 and connected to the mold 15 on the stand 20 is suspended from a horizontally swingable swing arm 72 located above the mechanism 30 and supported. In mold replacement, the cord 42 is moved to follow the movement of the mold not to be entangled. A temperature adjustment hose 52 extended from a mold temperature adjusting machine 50, to be easily connected to the mold 15 carried into the molding machine 10, is placed to the vicinity P of the mechanism 30 not to interfere with the stand 20 and the molding machine 10. The hose 52 is connected to the set mold 15, and the temperature adjusting machine 50 is actuated, so that the temperature of the mold 15 can be adjusted at a prescribed moldable temperature in a short time.
