摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiviral agent having excellent antiviral activity, method for producing the same, and an antiviral fiber product and an antiviral rayon fiber product comprising the same.SOLUTION: The antiviral agent is obtained by subjecting the seed husks of a plant belonging to the Juglandaceae Carya to hydrothermal treatment at ≥60°C. The method for producing the antiviral agent includes: a step of pulverizing the seed husks of a plant belonging to the Juglandaceae Carya to obtain pulverized matter; a step of extracting the pulverized matter with hot water heated at ≥60°C to obtain an extract; and a step of filtering the extract and subjecting the same to vacuum concentration. The antiviral rayon fiber product includes an antiviral functional agent derived from a plant as an antiviral functional agent and includes a charcoal-kneaded rayon fiber. Further, the antiviral functional agent derived from the plant is preferably made of the extract of the seed or seed husks of the plant belonging to the Juglandaceae Carya.
