    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lap-jointing method for a waterproof sheet, which can reduce a step of a joint.
      SOLUTION: The strip-shaped waterproof sheet 1 comprises sheet members 11 and 12 which are composed of a combination of one or more kinds among synthetic fibers, glass fibers and a PET film, and a modified asphalt layer 13 which is provided on the backsides of the sheet members 11 and 12. In the lap-jointing method for the waterproof sheet, longitudinal ends of the adjacent waterproof sheets 1 overlap each other; the waterproof sheet 1 is fixed to a construction surface 2; a joint of a top surface of a lapped part is covered with a strip-shaped member 5; and subsequently, a coating waterproof material 6 is applied onto the waterproof sheet 1 so as to cover it. Either of the longitudinal ends of the adjacent waterproof sheets 1 positioned in the joint lacks the modified asphalt layer 13 along the longitudinal direction of the waterproof sheet 1, and the sheet members 11 and 12 are exposed. The strip-shaped member 5 is equipped with a plurality of openings 51 through which the waterproof material 6 can pass, and the waterproof material 6 intrudes into the plurality of openings 51 so as to be solidified.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method using a waterproof sheet with an adhesive layer, which can simply prevent the occurrence of a wrinkle in a waterproof layer.
      SOLUTION: This construction method using the waterproof sheet with the adhesive layer comprises: a waterproof sheet adhesion step of partially equipping a surface, positioned on the side of a construction surface 2, with the adhesive layer 13, and of superposing longitudinal ends of the waterproof sheet with the adhesive layer, formed in a communicating shape, and making them adhere to the construction surface 2, in a region, which is not provided with the adhesive layer 13, of the surface positioned on the side of the construction surface; a waterproof-sheet and construction-surface fixing step of fixing the waterproof sheets with the adhesive layer to the construction surface 2 by driving a locking member into the construction surface 2, in a region in which the longitudinal ends of the waterproof sheets with the adhesive layer are superposed on each other, after the waterproof sheet adhesion step; and a covering step of applying a coating waterproof material onto the waterproof sheet with the adhesive layer, or of sticking an asphalt sheet 3 onto it, after the waterproof-sheet and construction-surface fixing step.
