    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for controlling luminance of a display panel of an electronic apparatus, whose control method is easy and whose cost can be saved.SOLUTION: A luminance control method of a display panel of an electronic apparatus includes: a setting step for setting display luminance of the display panel to N-pieces of luminance levels, dividing a luminance value obtained from an image photographed by a camera component into N-pieces of luminance value sections in response to the N-pieces of luminance levels which are set, and allowing the respective divided luminance value sections to correspond to one of the luminance levels; a photographing step for starting the camera component for each prescribed time, performing photography and acquiring a photographed image; a calculation step for calculating the luminance value of the acquired photographed image; and a control step for controlling the display luminance of the display panel to one luminance level corresponding to the luminance value section on the basis of the luminance value section where the luminance value of the photographed image is located.
