    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve issues of a narrow observation range, low density, and a short observation time in the conventional technique wherein diamond dust is theoretically generated and observed by making a user blow into a box at a temperature about -20°C to generate a mist and crushing an air cap in the box to generate suspended ice crystals and applying light of a flashlight to them to observe brilliance of ice by reflection and refraction of ice crystals.
      SOLUTION: In order to compensate for the issues of observation range, density, and observation time of diamond dust, a projector is set in a box having a black inside surface and a heat insulating material, and a dry ice storage part for producing a coolant effect by bringing methanol or ethanol into contact with dry ice, is provided in the box. A cover includes a black inside surface and includes a window for inside observation, and a magnifier is mounted on the window. A small hole for air inlet is opened in the window. The box is hermetically closed with the cover, and the inside of the box is kept at about -20°C, and air is blown into the box through the small hole of the cover by an air pump, whereby vapor in air becomes ice crystals and the ice crystals are suspended in the box. This phenomenon is diamond dust. The diamond dust is observed through the magnifier of the cover. The magnifier grows ice crystals to enhance the effect of increasing beauty of brilliance.
