摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge drawing apparatus which draws sludge from the sedimentation tank in sewage treating equipment and can even suck and remove sludge sedimented along the ridgeline of the tank efficiently from the sedimentation tank, in cases where the sedimentation tank consists of a sedimentation tank having a square bottom surface and equipped with a sludge collector having a square suction inlet for drawing of sludge.
SOLUTION: In the sedimented tank of the sewage treating equipment, a quadrangular pyramidal sludge collector is arranged so that the angle between each bottom side of the collector and each side of the bottom surface of the sedimentation tank is 45°. Accordingly, the sludge sedimented along the ridgeline of the sedimentation tank is able to suck and remove quite efficiently and control occurrence of scum efficiently. The scum often occurred owing to sedimentation of sludge along the ridgeline of the sedimentation tank and spread throughout the sedimentation tank, resulting in floating up to the upper part of the sedimentation tank while entraining bubbles and, together with treating water, overflowing. The sludge drawing apparatus can prevent the trouble almost completely.
