摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed synthetic resin container which is composed of a container body and a lid made of a synthetic resin and keeps mechanical strength, especially, increased anti-compression strength. SOLUTION: This foamed synthetic resin container is composed of the container body made of the foamed synthetic resin, and the lid made of the foamed synthetic resin. In this case, the container body is composed of a bottom plate having an approximately square shape and side walls which are erected from peripheral edges of the bottom plate. The peripheral edges of the bottom surface have lifted sections which do not touch the ground when a bottom surface is placed on a flat surface. The lid is detachably fitted to the opening of the container body, and has an approximately the same shape as the bottom plate. In the foamed synthetic resin container, for the container body, a load receiving bottom surface extended section which touches the ground when the bottom surface is placed on a flat surface is provided at least at the central section or in the vicinity of the center of confronted two edges of the bottom plate from among the peripheral edges of the bottom surface.
