    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging die which can use in the high-temperature forging at the temperature exceeding 1200°C to at least 1300°C and has the sufficient safety to the stress, especially the tension stress produced when the die forging is applied.
      SOLUTION: In the high-temperature forging die having an upper die and a lower die, made of metallic member, especially intermetallic compound member; in each die member (4), a reinforcing ring (7) surrounding under state of existence of play in the die member at the room temperature is arranged and each die member (4) is brought into contact with the reinforcing ring, with a heat-expansion in the heating time, and the compressive stress is exerted on each die member (4) through the reinforcing ring.
