SOLUTION: The reference frequency generation apparatus generates reference frequencies for communication systems that transmit and receive data by using an ultra wide band including at least two frequency groups having at least two reference frequencies, and comprises: a local oscillator 600; a generation frequency generating section 618 for generating generation frequencies by using a frequency transmitted from the local oscillator 600; an adjustment frequency generating section 620 for generating adjustment frequencies for adjusting the generation frequencies; selecting sections (61, 614) each selecting one generation frequency and one adjustment frequency from the generation frequencies and the adjustment frequencies; and a mixer 616 for generating the reference frequencies by using the selected one generation frequency and one adjustment frequency.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TFI-OFDM (Transport Format Indicator-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) transmission system and its transmission method, corresponding to the reception system and its reception method which mutually transmit different data in a positive frequency region and a negative frequency region, and apply an expanding transmission system, in a time region for the transmission regarding this.
      SOLUTION: The TFI-OFDM transmission system for the ultra-broadband communication has a data generator which generates data with a speed corresponding to a transmission speed mode; an encoder 321 which performs convolutional encoding for the data, an interleaver 331 which carries out bit interleaving for the encoded data; an OFDM modulator 351 which receives a 1st data group in the positive frequency region, receives a 2nd data group in the negative frequency region, carries out IFFT (Inverse Fast-Fourier Transformation) conversion after that, and outputs them in OFDM symbols; a buffer 381 which temporarily stores the OFDM symbol for repeatedly transmitting the OFDM symbol sequentially in the time region at least two or more times; and a frequency generator 391 which generates predetermined frequencies for transmission of the OFDM symbols in frequency regions of a predetermined number, corresponding to the transmission channels.
