摘要： PURPOSE: A virtual air travel system using a 3D video and a providing method thereof are provided to enable a traveler to virtually travel the regional provided in 3D image format according to the altitude, speed or directional control operation set by the traveler. CONSTITUTION: An altitude calculator(500) calculates the altitude of an object existing on the earth. Based on the altitude and coordinates calculated for the object on the earth, a distance calculator(600) calculates the distance between the objects existing on the earth. An image processor(300) generates a 3D image by overlapping a satellite image with a stereoscopic topology graph. A traveler operator(400) inputs a zoom command, an altitude and a direction for the virtual aerial travel.
