摘要： An airplane rudder and brake pedal assembly includes a rudder arm assembly having one rudder arm with first upper and lower arm portions, and another rudder arm with second upper and lower arm portions. The rudder arm assembly is assembled to a beam at an intersection of the first upper and lower arm portions, and an intersection of the second upper and lower arm portions. The first and second rudder arms are configured to rotate about the beam at the intersection. The rotation of the first and second rudder arms is configured to adjust control surfaces that control a yaw axis of the airplane. A brake pedal is attached to the first and second lower arm portions. Rotation of the brake pedal brakes the airplane. A rotary sensor is assembled to the brake pedal and the lower arm portion, and configured to determine an extent of the brake pedal rotation.

摘要： Embodiments of an instrument for retraction and suction during performance of an oral procedure are disclosed herein. In general, the instrument is profiled so as to operate as a retractor during use. Further, the instrument has a central passage and an end configured for attachment to a suction device. In this way, the instrument operates to provide suction for removal of, e.g., bone slurry, blood, saliva, debris, and irrigant, during an oral procedure. The suction is modulated using a port that remains uncovered when suction is not desired and that is covered by a user's finger when suction is desired.

The secondary compaction arrangement includes a secondary idle compacting roller, operating after the primary compacting roller, performing a post retracing on the tows just applied by the primary compaction roller. The secondary compaction arrangement may also include an additional (secondary) heating module interposed between the primary and secondary compaction rollers. Re-heating and re-pressing the tows addresses those tows which are insufficiently bonded to a working surface due to the tow being insufficiently tacky.

摘要： A fuel system incorporating a boost pump unit, a boost pump unit and method of pumping fuel are provided. The fuel system and boost pump unit are preferably self-priming and do not utilize an airframe mounted pump for supplying fuel for an aircraft combustor. The boost pump unit includes a liquid ring pump and an air/fuel separator. The air/fuel separator has an inlet and first and second outlet ports. The inlet is operably fluidly coupled to an outlet of the liquid ring pump. The air/fuel separator has an arcuate flow path. The first outlet port is in fluid communication with a radially outer portion of the arcuate flow path and the second outlet port is in fluid communication with a radially inner portion of the arcuate flow path. A return line connected to the first outlet port is configured to return fuel to the liquid ring pump.

摘要： An air cooled core mounted ignition system for gas turbine engine applications is provided. The ignition system includes an ignition exciter component directly mechanically and electrically connected to an igniter component. The housing member of the exciter component includes an air plenum configured to receive bleed air from the engine fan or compressor sections of the turbine engine, or other source. The bleed air provides a relatively low temperature air source for the purpose of cooling of the exciter. As such, the exciter component can be directly secured to the igniter, thereby eliminating the need for an ignition lead.
