    • Methods, apparatuses, and articles for interactive viewing, asynchronously retrieving and annotating medical images are described herein. In various embodiments, a client device may retrieve, from a server, a network resource having medical information and associated medical images, with the server initially including only a subset of the medical images. The client device may then facilitate a user in interactive viewing of the retrieved medical images, and asynchronously retrieve additional ones of the medical images from the server as the retrieved medical images are being interactively viewed. In some embodiments, in response to interactive viewing, the client device may request of a server a graphical primitive, the request specifying a graphical primitive type and information associated with the interactive viewing. In response the client device may receive the primitive and may create an annotation layer including the primitive associated with the medical image.

    • Adaptive systems and methods that may help assure the reliability of data retrieved from memory cells are described herein. The systems may include a memory device including a plurality of memory cells, a data quality monitoring block, and an adaptive data encoding block, the data quality monitoring block and the adaptive data encoding block both being operatively coupled to the memory device. The data quality monitoring block may be configured to determine a quality value of a group of one or more memory cells included in the memory device, the determined quality value being indicative of a quality of the group of one or more memory cells. The adaptive data encoding block may be configured to select a coding scheme from a plurality of coding schemes to encode data to be written to the group of one or more memory cells in the memory device, the selection of the coding scheme being based at least in part on the determined quality value of the group of one or more memory cells.

    • A system method and apparatus includes logic to render a first image corresponding to a first process image, and a second image corresponding to a second process image, in the same instantiation in the same graphical user interface. The second image may correspond to the first image in that it has been converted though use of a color conversion algorithm from the first image. In addition color profiles are made possible to simulate output on a greater that four channel destination device on a four or less channel proofing device wherein the profiles appear to be a four or less channel profiles. Over inking on certain devices is avoided.

    • Embodiments of the invention provide an apparatus which includes an apparatus body, a splitter for splitter relatively larger pieces of material into relatively smaller pieces of material coupled with the apparatus body, and a grinder for grinding the relatively smaller pieces of material also coupled with the apparatus body. A power source may be adapted to provide power to both the grinder and the splitter. The grinding can be accomplished with minimal repositioning of the relatively smaller pieces once split. The splitting, then the grinding can be accomplished with little to no translational movement within a job site of a nearby piece of equipment adapted for picking up first the relatively larger pieces then the relatively smaller pieces.
