摘要： An electronic circuit, in particular a receiver circuit contains a chain of stream processing circuits (I0a-c). The stream processing circuits (IOa-c) have control parameter inputs for receiving control parameter values. In order to facilitate design of circuits that receive data with a variable block size, a control circuit (14) is included that selects block sizes of blocks of samples in the respective streams of a plurality of the stream processing circuits (10a-c), a control parameter value for each particular block. The control circuit transmits instructions that specify the selected block sizes and control parameter values to local control circuits (11). Each local control circuit is coupled to the control circuit (14) and the control input of a respective corresponding stream processing circuit (10a-c) from the chain. Each particular local control circuit (11) is arranged to receive at least part of the instructions and to apply parameter values from the instructions to its corresponding stream processing circuit (10a-c). The particular local control circuit (11) controls timing of control parameter updates using block sizes from the instructions by counting off block size dependent time intervals between times points of successive control parameter updates. As a result there is no need to adapt the design of the stream processing circuits (10a-c) to the block sizes.

摘要： A reconstruction method based on a white-compensated luminance-reconstruction and using filter weights referred to as smartgreen-parameters is proposed. An aliasing free luminance signal, even at the multiples of the sample frequency and in case of a camera without optical low pass filter is achieved. Moreover this white-compensated-luminance-signal is free of signal distortion. The proposed method allows a suitable low pass filter to be added or combined and is particular well suited to implement a variety of aliasing free color- and contour-filters. The RGB color signals are reconstructed using filter weights that can be chosen as a function of the heaviness of the sensor matrix and of the optical transfer of the camera. The reconstructed RGB signals may still further be improved with regard to colored aliasing according to the Nyquist-theorem. A false-color-filter is implemented in a color-reconstruction-filter and applied to eliminate false colors and in order to reduce the amount of color aliasing. Also a development is proposed for low cost applications.

The source region (7) extends at least substantially in a doped region (11) of the photosensitive element (5), the doped region (11) having a second conductivity type. The reduction of the source-well junction area reduced the number of white pixels and fixed pattern noise. In the method of manufacturing the image sensor, the well region (10) is positioned partly below the gate region (9) so that there is a distance (13) between the highly doped source region (7) and the well region (10). The distance (13) increases the depletion layer width between the source and well junction, so that tunnel currents no longer dominate the leakage currents and the related number of white pixels and fixed pattern noise are reduced.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving high-bandwidth OFDM signals, while limiting the complexity of the OFDM signal processing is described. Bandwidth expansion is achieved by repetition of whole OFDM symbols with the polarity of repetitions determined by a long PN code. This technique ensures a perfectly white spectrum. Use of zero-suffix OFDM symbols allows a large tolerance to multipath channels, even while maintaining a single, low-rate RAKE finger for despreading in the receiver.
