    • The present invention relates to a system for de-bunching a harvested stream of fruit in bunches, said system being intended to be mounted on board a harvesting machine. The de-bunching system includes an endless screen (1) that is driven between an upstream transverse shaft and a downstream transverse shaft (2), said screen including openings adapted to the allow the fruit to pass through and to retain undesirable components of the stream on said screen. The system further includes a driven rotary member (3) overlying said screen between said transverse axes, said rotary member including radial de- bunching fingers (4) which, upon rotation, are adapted to interact with the stream on the (1) screen in order to bring about separation of fruits attached to the bunches. The system further includes a device (5, 6) for lateral evacuation of the undesirable components, said device including means for conveying said components from the rear side of the downstream transverse shaft (2) to a lateral area of ejection of said components.

    • A harvesting device comprises two shaker assemblies (5) mounted face-toface on a straddle carrier frame (9) for shaking fruit-bearing trees or bushes. Each shaker assembly comprises a plurality of horizontal flexible material rods (22) having a first end (22a) detachably fixed to an oscillatory vertical support (19), a median portion (22c) adapted to act on the fruit-bearing trees or shrubs to shake them, and a second end (22b) connected to the frame (9) by a connecting link (23) that is grosso modo horizontal and perpendicular to a vertical median plane of symmetry of the frame. Hence, in operation, the second end (22b) of the rod (22) is maintained at a substantially constant distance from the vertical median plane of symmetry. The connecting link (23) is fixed to the frame (9) by a rigid connection (41) and is flexible in a substantially horizontal plane, so that, in operation, the end (23a) of the connecting link (23) adjoining the rod (22) moves to-and-fro substantially horizontally in a direction substantially parallel to the vertical median plane of symmetry.
