    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the sealing of a control valve for a fluid circulation system.
      SOLUTION: A body 12 is equipped with a fluid inlet 18 and at least two fluid outlets 20 and 24, and defines a rotating housing for an adjusting element 26 which is designed to rotate around an axis of rotation XX and to take different angular positions in order to control the distribution of a fluid through the outlets. The adjusting element 26 is surrounded by a seal ring 42 which is in the form of an open ring and is rotatably mounted to the adjusting element with a small clearance between the adjusting element and the seal ring. In this way, the seal ring can be brought into contact with a lateral wall 16 into which the fluid outlets 20 and 24 open, and pressed inwardly in order to reliably provide sealing under the action of the pressure of the fluid. This invention is particularly suitable for motor vehicle fluid systems.

    • PURPOSE: To increase a heat exchanging capacity with collecting plate having a minimum width to the maximum value by a method wherein corresponding terminal ends of a plurality of adjoining heat exchanging pipes are fitted to each of the holes in the collecting plate and the terminal ends of the adjoining heat exchanging pipes fitted to any one of the holes are directly brazed. CONSTITUTION: Bundles of a plurality of pairs of heat exchanging pipes 94 are formed and a cooling fan 104 with a sinusoidal curved line shape is arranged in the bundles. Then, the terminal ends 92 of the bundled pipes are fitted in pairs into the corresponding holes of the collecting plate 70. Subsequently, the terminal ends 92 are deformed to widen the ends a little. Then, the alloy metal plated onto a pipe wall is melted to braze, thereby integrally forming the assembled components. An annular sealing gasket is arranged at an entire surface of the collecting plate 70, some beads around the wall material 110 are fitted to the formed grooves to complete either a water box or a branch pipe. Then, an inward-directed piece is bent and the wall material 110 of the water box is positively and sealingly closed against the collecting plate 70.
