    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively cope with a countermeasure of industrial waste regardless of size of a can and without enlarging a press by forming an annular thin step deference by the press on the peripheral edge part of an end sheet such as a bottom sheet and a top sheet of the can. SOLUTION: An end sheet 5 is placed on the top face of a bottom metal blade 17 of a bottom mold 13 and the end sheet 5 is positioned on the inside of a guide 16 and when a driving shaft 2 is moved downward, a step difference blade 25 is moved downward along the guide and the bottom face of the step difference blade 25 is positioned at the same face as the top face of the bottom metal blade 17 and the bottom face of the step difference blade 25 presses the peripheral edge part of the end sheet 5. In this instance, as the inner diameter r' is a little larger than the outer diameter r of the bottom metal blade 17, an annular thin step difference 6 is formed on the peripheral edge part of the end sheet 5 and the outer peripheral edge part of the end sheet 5 becomes a little lower than its inside. When a can with this end sheet 5 is discarded, a metal spatula is driven into the thin step difference 6 of the end sheet 5 to cut open the end sheet 5 along the step difference 6 to remove the end sheet 5 and this can is smashed.

    • PURPOSE:To easily, quickly open a cant by a method wherein an annular groove is formed along the inside of the circumferential edge of a plate member that opens and closes a cylindrical body of the can to confine a wire member in the groove by caulking parts and the wire member is raised to cut open the plate member. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 2 is formed along the inside of the circumferential edge of a plate member 1 that closes an opening of a cylindrical body 9. An end of a wire member 4 is led out of a guide opening of a cylindrical and formed into a handle 5. The wire member 4 is arranged along the groove 2 and the other end of the wire member 4 is fixed to the plate member 1. Caulking part 7 are formed in the part above the groove 2 to confine the wire member 4 in the groove 2. Therefore, when the handle 5 is pulled up or wound and the wire member 4 is raised, the plate member 1 is cut open by the wire member 4 raised and a can is opened easily, quickly. In addition, the kerf is safe as it is duller than that made by a jug.

    • PURPOSE:To cool the surface of film at its forming by a method wherein cold air is obtained by reusing the waste heat from the heaters of the stock melting zone, of which an extruder consists, as the driving energy source of an absorption- refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:Stock in an extruder 20 is melted in the cylinder 21 with heaters and fed in a die 27. The heat of the heaters is given through heat exchangers 28 to the hot water 32 of an enclosed hot water circulating circuit 31. The hot water 32 flows in a heating pipe 50 so as to heat silica gel Si in the chamber 38 of an absorption-refrigerator 37. The silica gel Si desorbs steam, which flows in a condensing chamber 42 and is condensed with a steam condenser tube 62 and finally falls down to a cold water chamber 41 in water drops. The silica gel Si in a chamber 39 dissipates heat to the cooling water in an endothermic pipe 59, resulting in lowering its temperature. The steam in the cold water chamber 41 is transferred into a steam chamber 45 so as to be adsorbed by the silica gel Si. Accordingly, the temperature of the water in the cold water chamber 41 lowers and, as a result, the cold water in a cold water circuit is cooled and consequently the air 70, which is sucked with a blower fan 69, is cooled through a heat exchanger 66 and blasted through an air directing ring 72 against the surface of film F.
