摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type cooking and heating can which makes odorless and clean combustion and does not discharge dangerous and fatal vapor and smoke generated when methanol-base gelatinized alcohol fuel burns. SOLUTION: This cooking can has a container 20 having a base part 22, a side wall structural particularly 24 and upper wall part 30 having a central aperture 31. The upper wall part 30 has fuel containing an isoparaffin mixture and diethylene glycol, a fuel stabilizing means for holding the fuel and regulating its movement, a fibrous material packed by leaving a combustion chamber in the upper part and an ignition cord extending upward from the bottom of the fibrous material and passing the central aperture 31. The can has an ignition mans which draws the isoparaffin mixture from its bottom storage part to a front surface exposed part by capillarity, has the isoparaffin mixture subjected to the initial ignition by a flame and ignites the diethylene glycol in the front surface exposed part of the fibrous material.

An ignitor cord extending upwardly from the base within the interior chamber and through the central opening delivers the isoparaffin mixture by capillary action from a bottom of the interior chamber to an exterior, exposed portion of the ignitor cord to facilitate initial igniting thereof and subsequent igniting of the diethylene glycol on an upper exposed surface of the fibrous material.
