摘要： An adjusting device is provided to adjust adjusting tension of a drive transmitting belt of a wood planing machine, and includes a protective cover and a position adjusting member. The machine has a machine body with a front wall, a drive shaft rotatably mounted on the machine body around a lower axis and extend outboard to the front wall, a motor with an output shaft that extends outboard to the front wall along an upper axis, and a drive transmitting belt trained on the output and drive shafts. The protective cover includes an upright abutting rear wall that extends beyond the output shaft in a transverse direction to the upper axis and that defines an opening to permit forward and outward extension of the output shaft and a transverse movement relative to the opening. The protective cover has left and right anchored points spaced from each other in a diametric direction relative to the opening. The adjusting member has an abutting front wall disposed transverse to the output shaft to abut against the abutting rear wall. The abutting front wall has an opening to permit forward and outward extension of the output shaft, and left and right anchoring points spaced from each other in a diametric direction relative the opening. A guide slot is formed through the left anchoring point in clockwise and counterclockwise directions relative to the opening.

摘要： A wood planing machine includes left and right mounting frames fixed uprightly on left and right mounting sides of a bed body. Left and right pairs of lifting rods are upright disposed rotatably on the bed body, and have lower ends extending into the bed body and connected to each other by a transmission belt. A working table is disposed on the bed body, and has four lugs connected operably with the working table such that rotation of the lifting rods results in movement of the working table relative to the bed body. Feed-in and take-out shaftd are journalled between the left and right mounting frames above the working table. A tool mounting shaft is disposed between the feed-in and take-out shafts and is journalled between the mounting frames. A motor for driving the tool mounting shaft is disposed movably in the bed body so as to permit tension adjustment of a transmissin belt trailed over an output shaft of the motor and the tool mounting shaft.

摘要： A workpiece feeding device is to be used with an edge shaping apparatus and includes a base unit, a housing unit, a feeding cylinder unit and a drive unit. The housing unit is mounted uprightly on the base unit and includes a surrounding wall with a front wall portion, and a partition member which is connected integrally to the surrounding wall and which cooperates with the front wall portion so as to confine a pair of upright cylindrical receiving spaces. The front wall portion is formed with a pair of vertical slots to access respectively the cylindrical receiving spaces. The feeding cylinder unit includes a pair of feeding cylinders received respectively in the cylindrical receiving spaces and mounted rotatably on the base unit. The feeding cylinders extend out of the cylindrical receiving spaces via the vertical slots. The drive unit is connected operably to the feeding cylinders and is operable so as to drive rotatably the feeding cylinders.
