SOLUTION: This wax permeation apparatus has a heat retaining vessel 1 which has of an approximately rectangular hollow body and is composed of heat insulating cloth 5 having openings 2, 3 and a heat retaining sheet 6. A temperature control heating element 4 is fixed in the heat retaining vessel 1 by melting a heat-resistant waterproof sheet 7 having an air release port.

SOLUTION: Recessed arch parts are formed on both side surfaces of heat generation parts disposed on a lower part of the wax iron 1. The wax 11 melted by this heat generation parts is dropwise added onto a slide surface of a ski 10 and the wax iron 1 is moved to a direction as shown in Figure. So, the melted wax 11 is coated on the slide surface of the ski 10 and the remaining wax 11 is stored in the arch part in the melted state. Thereby, even in the case where a plurality of kinds of waxes 11 are coated, they are mixed at the arch part to be coated.
