    • PURPOSE:To keep the sealing performance effective for a long time in a motor in which a plurality of cylinders are disposed radially inside a fixed cam ring, by designing the motor such that the reaction force produced at the time of explosion stroke is not acted substantially to pistons. CONSTITUTION:In a multistroke type radial piston motor, a cylinder block 6 formed with a plurality of cylinders 13 in radial directions is disposed inside a cam ring 2 fixed to a housing 1, in the manner that the cylinder block 6 is freely rotatable in the cam ring 2. A piston 20 having a roller 26 at one end thereof is fitted in each cylinder 13 in freely slidable manner, so that it is reciprocated by the movement of the roller 26 along the cam surface 5 of the cam ring 2. In such a motor arranged as above, opposite end portions of a roller shaft 27 for supporting the roller 26 in freely rotatable manner are journaled by a pair of bearing caps 28, 29, the opposite side faces of which in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the roller shaft 27 are vertical surfaces parallel to the axis of the cylinder. Further, these bearing caps 28, 29 are fitted, in freely slidable manner, in a pair of guide grooves 16, 17 formed in the cylinder block 6.

    • PURPOSE:A rotary type reciprocating engine subjected to obtain the output efficiently by means of arranging a plurality of combustion chambers composed of a piston and a cylinder at the circumference of an ellipse which is cut by an inclination to the cylinder casing. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 43 is allowed to be contacted rotationally and movably to the upper and lower directions against a cylinder holder 48 having a cylindrical surface 49 via a cylindrical surface 47 of the outer circumference of the cylinder top end, by means of arranging the rotation center of a plurality of combustion chambers 14 composed of a piston 30 and the cylinder 43 by balance at the circumference of an ellipse which is cut by inclination to the center axis of a cylinder casing 6. The cylinder holder 48 is engaged in the vertical groove of a rotation cylinder 51 up and down slidably via an engaging part 53, and an output gear 11 is arranged in this rotation cylinder 51, and an air absorbing port 59 and an air exhauste port 57 are formed in a subscribed range of up and down sliding range of the cylinder holder 48. And, an ignition plug 64 is mounted on the port 58 of ignition of the rotation cylinder 51 by means of fitting the plug.
