A global logic controller determines a to-be-distributed kernel program in a kernel status register table; searches an SM status register table for an SM capable of running at least one entire thread block; when the SM capable of running at least one entire block is not found, searches the SM status register table for a first SM, where the first SM is an SM capable of running at least one thread warp; and when the first SM is found, distributes a block from the to-be-distributed kernel program to the first SM; or when the first SM is not found, searches for a second SM and then distributes the block from the to-be-distributed kernel program to the second SM. The GPU resource allocation method and system are applicable to GPU resource allocation.

摘要： Various embodiments include methods for data management in a computing device utilizing a plurality of processing units. Embodiment methods may include generating a data transfer heuristic model based on measurements from a plurality of sample data transfers between a plurality of data storage units. The generated data transfer heuristic model may be used to calculate data transfer costs for each of a plurality of tasks. The calculated data transfer costs may be used to schedule execution of the plurality of tasks in an execution order on selected ones of the plurality of processing units. The data transfer heuristic model may be updated based on measurements of data transfers occurring during the executions of the plurality of tasks (e.g., time, power consumption, etc.). Code executing on the processing units may indicate to a runtime when certain data blocks are no longer needed and thus may be evicted and/or pre-fetched for others.

摘要： Hardware transactional memory (HTM) systems may guarantee that transactions commit without falling back to non-speculative code paths. A transaction that fails to progress may enter a power mode, giving the transaction priority when it conflicts with non-power-mode transactions. If, during execution of a power-mode transaction, another thread attempts, using a non-power-mode transaction, to access a shared resource being accessed by the power-mode transaction, it may be determined whether any actual data conflict occurs between the two transactions. If no data conflict exists, both transactions may continue to completion. If, however, a data conflict does exist, the power-mode transaction may deny the other transaction access to the shared resource. HTM systems may, in some embodiments, ensure that only one power-mode transaction exists at a time. In other embodiments, multiple, concurrent, power-mode transactions may be supported while ensuring that they access disjoint data sets.

摘要： A problem with conventional art is that, in an environment wherein a plurality of interrupts having different priorities for processing occur in an overlapping manner from external devices, responding to high-priority interrupts while ensuring execution intervals of periodic tasks has been difficult. A partition execution control device according to the present invention comprises: a first management table which stores, for each partition, initial time slices, remaining time slices, execution priorities, execution states, and an interrupt disable level for suppressing the interrupts from the external devices; and a second management table which stores the interrupt priorities of the external devices and partitions to which the interrupts are to be output. This partition execution control device controls the execution of the partitions using the execution priorities and the time slices stored in the management tables, and controls the execution of the interrupts using the interrupt disable levels and the interrupt priorities.
