    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an inconvenience causing an engine stall and an idle failure by inflow and accumulation of fuel by an attitude change at the time of a normal driving in an auxiliary passage for supplying air-fuel mixture for starting and outflow of fuel by the next attitude change. SOLUTION: In this carburetor in which an opening/closing valve 31 interlocking with a throttle valve 4 is provided in the auxiliary passage 21 connected with a downstream side of the throttle valve 4 of an intake passage 2, the opening/closing valve 31 is opened at the time of idle opening of the throttle valve 4 and replenishes air-fuel mixture to the engine and the auxiliary passage 21 is closed because the opening/closing valve 31 is closed when the throttle valve 4 is opened, a downstream side part of the opening/closing valve 31 of the auxiliary passage 21 is communicated with an upstream side part of the throttle valve 4 of the intake passage 2 by an air passage 28 and fuel is prevented from flowing into the auxiliary passage 21 by air from the air passage 28 when the opening/closing valve 31 is closed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the individual machining accuracy of a metering pin setting a minimum flow rate at the time of idling and a fixed jet setting a maximum flow rate at the time of full-load and simultaneously to make engine drivability better than over. SOLUTION: A choke valve 22 is installed in the inlet of an intake passage 2 while a check valve 21 to be closed toward a constant fuel chamber 18 is installed in a fuel passage 19, connecting an air bleed passage 24 to the downstream side of the check valve 21 of the fuel passage 19, and any negative pressure acting on the fuel passage 19 and a fuel nozzle 16 is lowered by the induction of bleed air, and further both dimensional accuracies of a metering pin 7 and a fixed jet 20 relaxed. Fuel is evacuated from the air bleed passage 24 in time of cold starting, improving the startability, and further a jet diameter of the fixed jet 20 is enlargeable, whereby a fuel flow rate at the time of full- load driving is secured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a sufficient quantity of accelerating fuel by forming a pump chamber longitudinally crossing part of a piston rod as a small diameter rod part, and protrusively arranging an accelerating arm in a large diameter rod part by forming an inserting part of a carburetor main body as the large diameter rod part. SOLUTION: A piston rod 24 whose one end is fixed/joined to a piston 23 is composed of a small diameter rod part 24a and a large diameter rod part 24b. Among these, the small diameter rod part 24a projects in a space 19 by longitudinally crossing a pump chamber 25 on the opposite side of a constant fuel chamber 17 by sandwiching the piston 23 of a cylinder chamber 22. While, the small diameter rod part 24a is loosely inserted into the large diameter rod part 24b, and an accelerating arm 28 is fixed/joined to an end part projecting in the space 19 by projecting it in the perpendicular direction. At time of acceleration, the accelerating arm 28 contacted/engaged with a throttle valve 4 moves the piston 23 in the volume reducing direction of the pump chamber 25 by pulling the piston rod 24. At this time, the small diameter rod part 24a longitudinally crosses the pump chamber 25, and since the maximum volume becomes larger than usual, accelerating fuel sent out of the pump chamber 25 increases.
