摘要： A press-formed plastic coated paperboard tray is hermetically sealed by applying a hot melt or wax to indentations (e.g. relief depressions or wrinkles) formed in a flange of the tray at the corners of the tray. A film cover is then adhered to the tray over the flange and the hot melt or wax filling the indentations in the corner of the flange of the tray provides a hermetic seal for the interior of the tray and its contents, such as sterilized medical instruments, and precludes leakage of liquids housed within the tray.

摘要： A carrier for displaying a plurality of envelopes may be mounted in a conventional loose-leaf binder, and is generally rectangular in configuration. The carrier is formed by folding a sheet about a medial line to form front and back panels, with the front panel including flap portions that are folded over and bonded to the back panel. Elongated slots are provided in the front and back panels, generally parallel to the folded edge of the carrier, and display envelopes may be partially inserted through each said slot, and carried by the carrier for display purposes. In the method for displaying envelopes, a loose-leaf binder and a plurality of such carriers are provided, and each display envelope is partially inserted into selected slots of the carrier whereby at least a portion of each envelope is visible for display purposes, and with each envelope being releasably disposed in the carrier.

The annular configuration of the platform allows it to be assembled within the vessel around the central obstruction. The platform is modular and is assembled in the vessel from a plurality of identical sections. After the inspection of the vessel interior, the platform is disassembled and removed from the vessel through the limited entry space.

摘要： The interior of the paperboard carton is subdivided into two equal volumes by means of an internal divider panel which is formed as an extension of one end of the blank which is used to form the carton. The carton has front and back walls, side walls, and top and bottom closure flaps foldably connected to the front, back and side walls. The carton is formed from a one piece blank having opposite ends thereof overlapping each other and glued together at the center of the back wall, the divider panel is formed as an extension of one of the overlapping ends of the blank and is set back on that end of the blank so that the divider panel has basal marginal legs between which there extends a glue tab which is glued to the other end of the blank to form part of the glue seam joining the ends of the blank together. A paperboard material savings is realized by setting the divider panel back to form the marginal legs. The top closure of the carton is medially rupturable so as to be divisable into two top closures independently operable.

摘要： A carton has a handle formed on its top. The carton comprises top and bottom walls connected by a tubular body. The top wall has inner and outer panels extending from opposite sides of said tubular body and being overlapped and secured together. An elongated handle panel is formed from a portion of the outer top panel, and is substantially equally spaced from the tubular body opposite sides. A score line is formed in the outer top panel to define the handle panel, which score line extends substantially parallel to a free end edge of the outer top panel and at least to the tubular body. This handle panel lies flat against the top wall of the carton while it is shipped and stored, and is readily accessible by tearing along the score line. The handle panel is oriented to lift the carton in line with the carton center of gravity to avoid tilting of the carton.
