    • Multi-array laterolog tool systems and methods acquire a set of array measurements sufficient to provide laterolog tool measurements of differing array sizes. Such systems and method offer multiple depths of investigation while offering greater measurement stability in borehole environments having high resistivity contrasts. In at least some system embodiments, a wireline or LWD tool body has a center electrode positioned between multiple pairs of guard electrodes and a pair of return electrodes. The tool's electronics provide a current from the center electrode to the pair of return electrodes and currents from each pair of guard electrodes to the pair of return electrodes. Each of the currents may be distinguishable by frequency or distinguishable by some other means. This novel arrangement of currents provides a complete set of measurements that enables one tool to simultaneously emulate a whole range of laterolog tools.

    • An automated, self-adaptive framework prioritizes software testing in a consistent and effective manner. A metric evaluates past test execution information for assigning regression testing priority. The metric may be calculated with reference to one or more of the following factors taken in combination: requirement, coverage, history, and cost. The requirement factor considers customer-assigned priority of testing the code, complexity of implementing the code, and proneness of the code to faults. The coverage factor considers code coverage, feature coverage, and common usage rate. The history factor considers previous bug found rate, case stable rate, and priority to calculate. The cost factor considers test case execution time, and step length. A value of each factor for one test case is measured according to that test case and is not related to other test cases. The calculation result representing the metric for each test case determines a priority of the test case.

    • A method for performing detection of a bed boundary can include deploying a tool body with a longitudinal axis in a borehole, modulating the magnetic moments of electromagnetic signals to be transmitted by the first transmitter and the second transmitter, firing the first transmitter and the second transmitter substantially simultaneously, utilizing the receiver to receive and measure the modulated electromagnetic signals from the first transmitter and the second transmitter, and computing the orientation and location of the bed boundary based on the amplitudes and phases of the electromagnetic signals received and measured at the receiver. The tool body can be deployed with a first transmitter, a second transmitter, and a receiver, all of which are oriented in different directions. The vector of the total magnetic moment of the modulated electromagnetic signals can electrically rotate during firing. A corresponding apparatus for detection of a bed boundary is also provided.

    • System and methods allow for ranking relevance of parameters of a content item. A method includes: receiving, using at least one processing circuit, a plurality of parameters of a content item and a plurality of corresponding initial relevance scores of the parameters indicating relevance of the parameters to the content item; estimating, using a statistical model, a plurality of revised relevance scores from the initial relevance scores, wherein each of the revised relevance scores is a function of at least two of the plurality of initial relevance scores; and ranking the plurality of parameters based on the revised relevance scores.
