摘要： The occurrence of problematic data portions during handover is prevented by a wireless base station in a wireless communication system wherein mobile stations to be transmitted to are selected successively from a plurality of transmission destination candidate mobile stations and data transport to the selected mobile station is performed via a shared channel, the wireless base station comprising a detection unit which detects mobile stations undergoing handover; and a control unit which provides control such that a mobile station detected by the detection unit becomes less likely to be selected as described above as compared to other mobile stations.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a main power unit that outputs a first DC power and an auxiliary power unit that outputs a second DC power to the components of the image forming apparatus. The auxiliary power unit includes a rechargeable capacitor. A measuring unit measures performance of the capacitor and a determining unit determines performance insufficiency of the capacitor based on the measured performance and the system configuration of the image forming apparatus. The performance is, for example, changes in a capacitance of the capacitor with time. When the determining unit determines performance insufficiency of the capacitor, a control unit adjusts, for example, a use range of the capacitor.

If absence of errors is detected, the results of decoding are output, even though repetition of the decoding operation is in progress, and further decoding is discontinued. Further, the number of times errors are detected in decoded results when decoding has been performed a set number of times is monitored and the decoding operation is executed again if the number of times errors are detected is equal to or less than a set value. Further, one of first and second decoded results output from first and second elementary decoders that construct a turbo decoder is selected as appropriate and is then output.
