摘要： A coolant supply and recycle system and method for cleaning used machine tool coolant and returning it to the machine tools for reuse. A tank receives used coolant containing metal chips from one or more machine tools. A pump is in communication with the tank, and is operative to extract used coolant from the tank into an inlet portion of the pump. Within the inlet, the pump includes an inducer-chopper operative to prime the pump and to chop the metal chips to effect a reduction in their size prior to discharging the used coolant from the pump. An impeller is recessed in the pump above the inducer-chopper to create a vortex of the used coolant and sized-reduced metal chips and force them from the pump discharge. The pump discharge portion is connected to a filter for removing the metal chips and supplying the clean coolant back to the machine tools.

The applicator attachment is provided with a hollow cylindrical body, and an eyecup integral with the body at one end. The other end of the body has an opening, and interiorly of the body are two female threads, located coaxially and of different diameters, the threads with the larger diameter being adjacent the open end of the body. Thus, the applicator attachment may be attached to a squeeze bottle with a larger diameter neck, or to a squeeze bottle with a smaller diameter neck. In an alternate embodiment, axially of the threads for engagement with the neck of a bottle, there is an extension having a third female thread, into which a plug is threaded to provide a closure for the nozzle of a bottle attached to the cylindrical body.In an alternate embodiment, the eyecup is integral with the neck of a bottle, which may be of molded plastic, and provided with a snap fitting for receiving a nozzle insert, there being a cylindrical extension between the neck portion of the bottle and the eyecup which is internally threaded to receive a stopper which is in part hollow to receive and engage with a surface thereof the end of the drop-forming nozzle.There are also provided an alternate embodiment in which a stopper and an attachment body have mating double threads, and the stopper has gripping means on the exterior or interior thereof. Further, a combined lid and stopper may be provided, with provision for relative sliding and rotatable movement.

摘要： This invention relates to a storage and shipping system comprising corrugated containers which house plastic vessels or bottles used to hold fragranced liquid bleaches in which the shipping and storage containers are stacked on top of one another. In the stacks in all of the shipping and storage containers except for the topmost one, the plastic vessels will share some of the vertical component of the compression load caused by the shipping and storage container directly located above a given shipping and storage container. The compression load can cause stress-cracking in the vessels or bottles if strongly wetting surfactants are used to disperse the fragrances. Surprisingly, it has been found that such stress-cracking can be essentially mitigated when an agent for dispersing the fragrance is used which does not promote stress-cracking in said vessels or bottles by substantially not wetting the interior surface of said plastic, and does not decrease the surface tension below the critical surface tension of the plastic. An exemplary agent is sodium xylene sulfonate.

A thickened aqueous laundry prewash composition is also disclosed including a surfactant system, water and a thickener being xanthan gum to develop a pourable product wherein shear caused by dispensing of the composition tends to reduce its viscosity. An aqueous laundry prewash composition thickened in a similar manner maintains in suspension an insoluble particle component to further enhance prewash characteristics.
