摘要： A connector component is disclosed, including a terminal. The terminal has a box-shaped connection portion which in use contacts a mating male-side terminal. An electrical wire connection portion connected to an electrical wire is provided rearward from the box-shaped connection portion. The height of the box-shaped connection portion is greater than that of the wire connection portion. A guard member projects from both side walls located between the box-shaped connection portion and the wire connection portion. When an electrically conductive plate material is cut and bent to form the terminal, the guard member is formed such that a tip of the guard member is integral with both side walls and folded inward in the terminal to prevent a sharp edge from being exposed to the outside. A periphery of a terminal insertion opening in a seal of the connector housing is prevented from being damaged when pressing the terminal into a terminal insertion opening of a resilient sealing member or when removing it therefrom.

摘要： A female housing ( 20 ) has a resiliently deformable lock arm ( 38 ), whereas a male housing ( 10 ) is provided with an interlocking portion ( 13 ). During the connection of the two housings ( 10, 20 ), the lock arm ( 38 ) is temporarily deformed while being held in sliding contact with the interlocking portion ( 13 ). When the two housings ( 10, 20 ) are properly connected, the lock arm ( 38 ) is restored resiliently to engage the interlocking portion ( 13 ). A front surface ( 14 ) of the interlocking portion ( 13 ) to face the lock arm ( 38 ) during a connecting process is arcuate. Thus, only a widthwise middle ( 14 a) of the interlocking portion ( 13 ) slides in contact with the lock arm ( 38 ) during a connecting operation.

摘要： A retainer mount hole 10 is open in a connector housing 1 from its bottom surface over to its opposite side surfaces, and a retainer 35 is obliquely pushed from a partial locking position to a full locking position. On the other hand, each terminal fitting 25 is provided with a projection 28 and a stabilizer 29 at the side of the projection 28. When the retainer 35 reaches the full locking position, both the projection 28 and the stabilizer 29 are engaged with the retainer 35. The projecting end of the rear end of the stabilizer 29 is pointed, thereby forming a biting portion 56. When a wire 31 connected with the terminal fitting 25 is pulled backward, the biting portion 56 bites in the retainer 35 to prevent the retainer 35 from returning.

The resilient contact piece (18) has a front narrowed portion (29) between the fold (20) and the contact (25) and a rear narrowed portion 30 between the contact (25) and the extending end (26).

摘要： A female terminal fitting is provided to prevent a waterproof rubber plug from being damaged. The female terminal fitting has an opening 21 formed in the leading end of a box-shaped main portion 20 having angular portions at its four corners. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tear mark from being produced on each tab piece when a bus bar body is separated from a carrier. SOLUTION: A bus bar body 50 is assembled in a housing and tab pieces 57 are brought into contact with terminal metal fittings, thereby short-circuiting the terminals metal fittings. In manufacturing the bus bar body 50, first, a plurality of bus bars 55 are linked to an edge part of a carrier 71 by means of bridge parts 72, a chain terminals 70 is press-molded having a shape connected to the bridge parts 72 at edge parts of link parts 56 of the bus bars 55, the bus bars 55 are unified with a holding body 51 by insert-molding, and this is separated from the carrier 71 by tearing up the bridge parts 72. In the form of the chain terminal, the bus bars 55 are locked not to tab pieces 57 but to the carrier 71 at the edge parts of the link parts 56, and therefore no tear mark is produced on the tab pieces when the bridge parts 72 are torn up.
