      SOLUTION: This clutch unit comprises a lever side clutch part 11 for controlling the connection/disconnection of toque to an output side by operating a lever and a brake side clutch part 12 for transmitting an input toque from the lever side clutch part 11 to the output side and disconnecting a reverse input toque from the output side. The lever side clutch part 11 has a lever side outer ring 14 into which torque is input by operating the lever. The brake side clutch part 12 has a cover 24 restrained to prevent it from rotating. The outer centering spring 19 in which elastic force is accumulated by the input torque from the lever side outer ring 14 and the lever side outer ring 14 is returned to the neutral position with the accumulated elastic force by releasing the input torque is disposed between the lever side outer ring 14 of the lever side clutch part 11 and the cover 24 of the brake side clutch part 12.
