摘要： An ink jet recording head comprises an ink path communicating with an orifice for discharging an ink, and energy-generating means for generating energy to be utilized for discharging the ink from the orifice, provided along the ink path, wherein a base member provided with the energy-generating means and a resin member provided with a recess for forming the ink path are bonded to each other while keeping the recess inside, thereby forming the ink path, and wherein a shearing bonding force between the resin member and the base member is larger than a stress generated due to a difference in coefficient of thermal expansion between the resin member and the base member.

摘要： An improved linerless pressure-sensitive label construction wherein label sheets carrying pertinent messages are pasted together with pressure-sensitive adhesive without using a release liner, and by separating the pasted-together label sheets, each separated section can be used as a label. Strips of release agent are provided at a given interval on the top and the bottom label sheets on their respective facing faces, the strips being arranged in a positionally staggered manner, so that the strips of release agent on one of the label sheets will come in contact with the strips of adhesive on the other. The strips of adhesive on either one of the label sheets are separated from one another by a narrow gap, so that the strips of adhesive which hold the top and the bottom label sheets together are separated from each other at the narrow gap and also from the strips of release agent on the other label sheet when the top and the bottom label sheets are peeled off from each other, whereby the label sheets can be easily separated.

When the extent of secular change due to contamination of the hot wire of the air flowmeter has exceeded a predetermined limit, the calibration device is put into effect to calibrate the first flow rate conversion function, so that the intake air flow rate can be measured with a high degree of accuracy without being influenced substantially by the secular change of the hot-wire type air flowmeter.

According to another aspect, a guide wire includes a member with a core wire, a marker-forming layer partly encircling the outer surface of the member and differing in color from the member, and a coating layer covering the marker-forming layer and the member at least in the marker-forming layer region and having transparency making the marker-forming layer visible. The marker-forming and coating layers can be formed from mutually miscible resins, while the marker-forming layer functions as a visible marker.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for producing a liquid discharge head including a silicon substrate having, on a first surface, energy generating elements, and a supply port penetrating the substrate from the first surface to a second surface, which is a rear surface of the first surface of the substrate. 摘要： A liquid ejection head and a method of forming the same. The liquid ejection head includes a substrate, an ejection port, a liquid channel, and a supply port. The substrate has, above one side thereof, an energy generating element configured to generate energy used to eject liquid. The ejection port, from which a liquid is ejected, is located at a position corresponding to the energy generating element. The liquid channel communicates with the ejection port and penetrates the substrate from the one side to another side of the substrate. The supply port communicates with the liquid channel. The substrate has a projecting layer extending inward of an inner peripheral portion of an opening in the supply port in the one side, and the projecting layer and the energy generating element are formed of the same material.
