    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lifetime of a battery by providing a cock switching indicating unit for outputting the cock switching allowing signal, a cock switching signal generating unit for outputting the cock switching output signal and a switching cock driving unit for opening and closing a gas passage with a cock, and desirably setting the electrifying time for driving the switching cock in the cock switching signal generating unit. SOLUTION: A timer counter for showing the total used time of a device is counted by a cock switching indicating unit 1, and in the case where the indication for switching a cock is not given, the processing is concluded. In the case where the indication is given, a cock switching signal generating unit 2 judges whether a value of the timer counter achieves the predetermined value, for example, a half value of the used time as a lifetime of a device or a value at 80% of the lifetime of the product, at which voltage is suddenly lowered, or not. In case of a value less than the predetermined value, battery voltage is judged sufficient, and a short electrifying time is set. In the case of the predetermined value or more, lowering of battery voltage is judged, and a long electrifying time is set. A switching cock driving unit 3 opens and closes a gas passage with a double-way cut-off valve, and the working is concluded. Abrasion of a built-in battery can be thereby lowered.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption of a battery of a gas emergency trip device so as to increase the reliability of it by driving a valve drive part when a gas unuse signal from a flow monitoring means is present so as to close a shut-off valve and, after a specified time, turn off the power of each means for selecting a low power mode. CONSTITUTION: When a gas enterpriser inputs a gas unuse signal from an external input terminal 5, a control part 16 drives a valve drive part 3 when the gas unuse signal is present so as to close a shut-off valve 2 and, after 40sec later, turn off the powers of an external sensor input means 6, an alarm means 10, and a valve return means 7 for selecting low power mode. Even if the gas enterpriser fails to input the gas unuse signal, a signal from a flow monitoring means 8 outputs the gas unuse signal when gas flow is zero for two weeks. By this, not only the input operation from the external input terminal 5 of the gas enterpriser is reduced but also the battery 17 of the gas emergency trip device is suppressed from consuming when monitoring is never required. Thus the reliability of the emergency trip device is increased and the device is tripped surely so that the safety can be maintained even when a house is not dwelled.
