    • A connector for switching between the states of the connection and non-connection to a mating connector by a cam mechanism (6) movably installed in insulators (2, 3), wherein the cam mechanism comprises a first cam (6a) and a second cam (6b). The first cam is rotatable about an axis, slidable between first and second positions in a direction parallel with the axis, and energized toward the first position by an elastic member (8). The second cam is rotated in conjunction with the first cam to provide either of the connected state and non-connected state according to a rotating angle. The first cam comprises a locked part (6a2) engaged with the lock part (3b3) of the insulator in the rotating direction thereof when positioned at the first position and disengaged from the lock part when positioned at the second position.

    • An electronic apparatus of the present invention has a first unit and a second unit coupled to the first unit through a coupling section which allows the second unit to be opened and closed relative to the first unit and the second unit has a display screen with a pen input function for detecting the contact of a pen or the close position of a pen. The UPSs monitor a state change of power on a host side by a host ac control line or an SCSI unit to sequentially execute processing in an order of processing of host termination, processing for cache flush of the disk array processing of host UPS termination processing of disk array termination and processing for termination of disk array UPS. Between the UPSs and the Host and between the UPSs and the disk array, there is provided an interlocking control signal to monitor current states thereof so as to control the respective operations. Resultantly the host UPS and the disk array UPS have the same configuration for wider usability.

    • A LAN connector is connected with a LAN cable connector inserted thereinto. The LAN connector comprises a flexible portion formed outside a modem-cable-connector occupied space within a housing having a size accommodating the LAN cable connector being inserted thereinto, and a stopper portion formed within the modem-cable-connector occupied space. The stopper portion is displaceable together with the flexible portion. When the modem cable connector is inserted into the housing, the flexible portion is not pushed and bent by the modem cable connector, and the stopper portion stops the modem cable connector. When the LAN cable connector is inserted into the housing, the flexible portion is pushed and bent by the LAN cable connector so as to cause the stopper portion to be withdrawn out of the modem-cable-connector occupied space.
