    • An information processing apparatus, which provides images for stereoscopic viewing by synthesizing images obtained by capturing an image of real space by a main image sensing device and sub image sensing device to a virtual image, measures the position and orientation of the main image sensing device, calculates the position and orientation of the sub image sensing device based on inter-image capturing device position and orientation held in a holding unit and the measured position and orientation of the main image sensing device. Then the information processing apparatus calculates an error using the measured position and orientation of the main image sensing device, the calculated position and orientation of the sub image sensing device, and held intrinsic parameters of the main image sensing device and sub image sensing device. The information processing apparatus calibrates the held information based on the calculated error.

    • The present invention provides an audio output apparatus, an audio signal output adjusting method, an audio signal output adjusting process program, and the like capable of preventing the user (listener) from making a complicated sound field setting even in the case where the position of a center speaker is changed.An audio output apparatus having: at least one first speaker changeably installed in a predetermined position and outputting an audio signal; and a plurality of second speakers fixedly installed in positions different from the position of the first speaker and different from each other, and outputting audio signals, the apparatus generating a sound field according to position relations among the install position of the first speaker and the install positions of the plurality of second speakers when the position of the user is used as a reference, wherein the apparatus comprises: a plurality of audio signal detecting means provided in or near the install positions of the second speakers and detecting audio signals output from the first speaker; speaker position calculating means for obtaining the audio signals detected by the audio signal detecting means, detecting that the install position of the first speaker has been changed on the basis of the obtained audio signals, and calculating the changed install position; and audio signal output adjusting means, on the basis of the changed install position of the first speaker and the install positions of the plurality of second speakers, that adjusts output of the audio signal from at least one of the first speaker whose install position has been changed and the plurality of second speakers so that a sound field according to the position relations before the install position of the first speaker was changed is maintained.

    • An image processing apparatus is connected to a print unit adapted to print an image, and can output an image to be printed to the print unit. The apparatus includes an image sensing unit adapted to capture a real space image, a generation unit adapted to generate a virtual space image according to a viewpoint position and orientation of the image sensing unit, and a composition unit adapted to obtain a mixed reality space image by combining the real space image captured by the image sensing unit and the virtual space image generated by the generation unit. In addition, a display unit is adapted to display a mixed reality space image obtained by the composition unit, and an output unit is adapted to output a mixed reality space image, which is obtained by the composition unit, to the print unit in response to an input of a print instruction. The generation unit generates a virtual space image to be displayed by the display unit according to a first procedure, and generates a virtual space image to be outputted by the output unit according to a second procedure which is different from the first procedure.
