One system comprises a dynamic flow mapping module that is configured to form a flow-mapping table to dynamically map service flows between the WWAN radio and the WLAN radio in the wireless device. A flow routing module is configured to route data packets to one of the WWAN radio and the WLAN radio in the wireless device based on the flow-mapping table to transmit and receive the data packets via the wireless device.

In various embodiments, a first layer of a multi-media stream may be received at a multi-radio computing device through a first radio link. In various embodiments, a second layer of the multi-media stream may be received at the multi-radio computing device through a second radio link. In various embodiments, feedback about the first and second radio links may be transmitted, by the multi-radio computing device through the first or second radio link, to a remote computing device configured to distribute layers of the multi-media stream among the first and second radio links.

摘要： Systems and methods for opportunistic cross radio access technology (RAT) bandwidth allocation are disclosed. The system comprises wireless wide area network (WWAN) radio configured to be used as a primary cell (PCell) to communicate with a dual mode mobile wireless device on a licensed band and a wireless local area network (WLAN) radio integrated with the WWAN radio and configured to be used as a secondary cell (SCell) to provide additional wireless connectivity to the dual mode mobile wireless device in an unlicensed band that is controlled by the PCell. The PCell provides network access and mobility control for the dual mode mobile wireless device and also supports an opportunistic cross carrier bandwidth allocation through a cross RAT coordination module in the downlink and uplink of the SCell in the unlicensed band.

In some embodiments, the UE may receive selection policy parameters from the WLAN including a network access identifier (NAI) realm. The UE may also receive selection policy parameters from the 3GPP network. The UE may compare the selection policy parameters of the WLAN with the selection policy parameters of the 3GPP network and discover roaming relationships between service providers and the relative priorities of different networks, and create a network list based on the comparison. The UE may then associate with an AP of the WLAN based on the prioritized network list.

摘要： Various embodiments provide a two-way interface between a URC driver (URCD) and various Protocol Adaption Layer (PAL) drivers. The two-way interface can enable bandwidth to be shared and managed among multiple different PALs. The two-way interface can also be used to implement common radio functionality such as beaconing, channel selection, and address conflict resolution. In at least some embodiments, the two-way interface can be utilized for power management to place PALs in lower power states to conserve power and to support remote wake-up functionality. Further, at least some embodiments can enable vendor-specific PALs to interact with vendor-specific hardware.

摘要： A system and method for association of remote nodes with respective aggregation nodes in a high capacity shared bandwidth communications network, which meets various requirements and desires associated with efficient, robust, reliable and flexible broadband services, and which is relatively efficient and automated from a network management and load balancing standpoint, is provided. A remote node receives a message transmitted by a gateway over the communications network, wherein the message includes service codes identifying one or more service capabilities of the gateway. The remote node determines, based on the service codes, whether the gateway is an eligible gateway for servicing one or more service requirements of the remote node. The remote node then adds the gateway to a pool of eligible gateways within the communications network.

In some embodiments, the mobile device may be configured to establish a transport-layer security (TLS) session with a sign-up server through a Wi-Fi Hotspot to receive a certificate of the sign-up server. When the certificate is validated, the mobile device may be configured to exchange device management messages with the sign-up server to sign-up for a Wi-Fi subscription and provisioning of credentials, and retrieve a subscription management object (MO) that includes a reference to the provisioned credentials for storage in a device management tree.
