    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the authority of a contract. SOLUTION: When a leaving vehicle Cout is a contract vehicle (S73: YES), the utilization is based on a periodical contract (S77: YES) and there is an unauthorized vehicle belonging to the same contract as the leaving vehicle Cout (S78: YES), one vehicle, for which the date/time of authority acquisition is not recorded, of a contract vehicle belonging to the same contract as the leaving vehicle Cout is selected and the present date/time is recorded in a vehicle presence managing table as the authority acquisition date/time of that selected vehicle (S79). Thus, a vehicle, which is an unauthorized vehicle up to the moment, becomes an authorized vehicle. Namely, the authority of parking in the periodical contract is transferred from the leaving vehicle to the other vehicle. It is not necessary for the vehicle, which acquires the authority by the transfer, to pay parking charges after that time point concerning a range to be covered by a parking lot using contract, to which that vehicle belongs. It is not necessary to individually make a periodical contract with each of plural vehicles and the authority of the contract can be more effectively utilized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for image around vehicle with which as many pieces of information as possible is obtained by effectively utilizing a display screen to display a behavior around a vehicle together with the vehicle. SOLUTION: Coordinate transformation is applied to photographed image data captured from a camera to generate transformed image data denoting a bird's eye view looking down at a ground face in a vertical direction. The transformed image data is compared with display image data denoting an image displayed on a monitor to extract an attached area at the outside of a visual field of the camera and the attached area is composited with a transformed image to generate a peripheral image for updating display on the monitor (S110-S150). The drawing area of the peripheral image and the image drawing position to display its own vehicle are set depending on the size of the attached area, as the size of the attached area is smaller, the area to display a real time image (conversion image) from the camera is extended, and conversely the area to display the image of the area at the outside of the visual field (attached area) is reduced (S160-S170).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance/exit controller of a vehicle to dispense with arrangement of the staff corresponding to an entrance and an exit of each object area for vehicle control to cope with a case that a vehicle number of the vehicle to enter and leave a parking lot is not read. SOLUTION: Charge collecting devices 1a, 1b,... are provided at each of plural gates of the parking lot as the object area for vehicle control. Each charge collecting device is provided with a vehicle number recognizing device 5, a camera 6, a telephone set 7 and a communication interface 8, the vehicle number is recognized by image recognition by photographing a number plate of the vehicle to enter and leave the parking lot and parking charge is calculated. The recognizing device 5 is connected with a computer 4 at a centralized control center 3 via a communication channel 2 and a communication request is transmitted when the vehicle number is not recognized. A call between the computer 4 and a driver of the vehicle is enabled by a telephone set 11 and when the vehicle number is directly heard from the driver and inputted by the staff, it is transmitted to the recognizing device 5. Thus, unmanned operation of the parking lot is enabled.
