    • A fault indication signal from a plurality of sensors is used to advance a rotary switch to hunt in search of the terminal at which the signal appears. The terminals of the switch are associated with the corresponding visual fault indications recorded on an endless film mounted on a transport mechanism that is driven in unison with the rotary switch. Upon the occurrence of a second fault, the switch is again triggered to advance in search of the terminal where the second signal appears for successive indication of the second fault location. The switch is automatically stepped to a terminal where a signal indicating the presence of more than one fault appears for permanent indication of the number of such faults. The system can be restarted manually to provide successive indications of the first and second faults to facilitate troubleshooting.

    • A system for preventing collision wherein a radar system is mounted on a vehicle for generating a relative speed signal and a relative distance signal. There are provided a brake signal generating logical circuit responsive to the relative speed signal and the relative distance signal for actuating a brake actuator, first and second comparators for comparing the relative speed signal and the relative distance signal respectively with reference signals, and an information processing signal responsive to the outputs from the first and second comparators for actuating the brake actuator. There is also provided a braking signal releasing circuit for disenabling the brake actuator after the vehicle has stopped.

    • In response to a release button being pushed, a system control section informs a timing generation section of the number of images to be shot to carry out high-speed continuous shooting. A first image obtained by continuous shooting is stored in a frame memory of an imaging section. While a superimposed image based on continuously shot images is generated by a camera-shake correction section, the first image stored in the frame memory is output to a preprocessing section so that the preprocessing section generates a high-sensitivity image by increasing the gain of an amplifying circuit in the preprocessing section. A signal processing section reads the superimposed image generated by the camera-shake correction section and the high-sensitivity image generated by the preprocessing section and applies image processing to these two images. The system control section causes a recording/reproducing section to record the two images in a recording medium.
