    • The present invention relates to methods and devices that allow for different types of transportation of data packets (6) in conjunction with a home base station (1). Traffic arriving in the home base station (1) from a mobile terminal (2) connected to the home base station (1) can be transported either via a core network (15) of a mobile telecommunications system or by means of local transportation, which implies that the traffic is forwarded to a local node (4) in a local network (20) without passing the core network (15). The home base station (1) examines data packets (6) that are received from the mobile terminal (1) and determines the appropriate type of transportation for each data packet (6). Thus it is not required for traffic that is destined for local nodes (4) to pass the core network (15), which allows for efficient traffic forwarding with several benefits such as offloading the core network (15).

    • The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement in communication systems utilising network mobility (NEMO). In moving networks comprising a plurality of mobile routers, MRs, it needs to be assured that two or more MRs sharing the same prefix, belong to the same moving network. The method according to the invention utilises a local connectivity test to determine if a MR should be allowed a certain prefix. Unique shared secrets are agreed between the MRs and the home agent, HA. The MRs derive, based on their respective shared secrets, MR specific information, which are distributed among MRs in the moving network. A MR requesting a prefix from the HA, forwards the MR specific information to the HA. By comparing data generated using its stored shared secrets with data from the MR specific information, the HA can determine whether the MR requesting a certain prefix belongs to the same moving network as MRs already using that prefix.

A control unit in the access node commands the handling unit to transmit frames from a new user device that has connected itself to the access point into the first virtual local area network. The control unit also receives information from the access server in respect of routing of frames and it commands the handling unit to transmit frames from a user device which is connected to the access point and the frames from which are transmitted into the first VLAN to be instead transmitted into one of the second VLANs as given by information received from the access server, the frames thereby being transmitted to the access server (19) of the respective service providing network.
