    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for controlling the retraction of a disk conveyed on a movable member operated by an electric motor.
      SOLUTION: The controller is provided with a measurement circuit having an output including the addition of a measurement circuit offset voltage to a reverse electromotive force (reverse EMF) from an electric motor in measurement phase. The controller further includes an offset removal circuit connected to the output of the measuring circuit. The reverse EMF from the electric motor is output from the output of the offset removal circuit. A driver circuit is connected to the terminal of the electric motor, and supplies a driving current of a size based on the reverse EMF from the electric motor to the electric motor in a driving phase.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide leakage current compensation of a PLL and the same kind of a loop filter capacitor. SOLUTION: Voltage is applied to a part, between both ends of a matching capacitor, current for an attenuation capacitor is generated based on the current applied, and leakage current of the attenuation capacitor of a loop filter is compensated. For the other techniques, the difference between voltage of the attenuation capacitor and reference voltage is accumulated digitally, and the difference of accumulation is converted to a signal to be applied to a mutual conductor capacitor, so that leakage current of the mutual conductor capacitor of the loop filter is compensated. Furthermore, it is also possible to give an analog mutual conductance path, which generates a signal to be applied to the mutual conductance capacitor in the loop filter. The leakage current of the capacitor is compensated for effectively, and a signal synthesizer can be mounted, by using a capacitor having a thinner oxide film gate, so that size of the capacitor is reduced. The IC device is also equipped with a bias generator connected operably to the gate terminal of the MOS device. The bias generator generates a bias voltage and/or a bias current which biases the MOS device at an approximately fixed rest point of operation. The bias generator is configured so that the bias voltage and/or the bias current changes as a function of the junction temperature of the MOS device.
