    • A non-highway vehicle including an engine, a DC power source driven by the engine and providing DC power via a DC bus, a traction motor, a circuit for connection to the DC bus for providing power to the traction motor, and a controller. The circuit includes at least two inverters which share the power supplied to the traction motor. A first inverter connects between the DC bus and the traction motor and a second inverter connects between the DC bus and the traction motor. The second inverter is in parallel connection with the first inverter. The controller coordinates operation of the first and second inverters.

    • The power system for an electrically powered land vehicle extracts electrons from ambient air to generate adequate electrical power to operate the land vehicle electrical energy production and propulsion system. The extracted electrons generate enough electrical power to run an electrical propulsion system and all accessory electrical systems of the land vehicle. The power system includes an abutting series of tubular sections defining an airflow path with a heating plates in the airflow path and variable positive voltage grids to extract charged particles from the heated air. Air is drawn into the airflow path by a centrifugal impeller. The ionized air not used to generate electric power is neutralized in an ionized gas neutralizing chamber and then exhausted.

    • A vehicle is powered by an electric linear induction motor (LIM) in at least one of the vehicle wheels and the height from the ground and/or wheelbase changed by the wheel structure and its connection to the vehicle chassis. The LIM is disposed radially outwardly from the wheel axis of rotation and comprises a stator having an electrically energizable propulsion coil circumposed by a rotor. A stator shaft connects the stator to the vehicle chassis and the stator and associated shaft are fixedly-connected and angularly orbited about the inner diameter of the rotor whereby to change the height of the vehicle chassis from the ground or the wheelbase of the vehicle. The rotor is supported for rotation about the stator by bearings, or by magnetic levitation, as provided by a ring of permanent magnets in the rotor disposed in juxtaposition with an electrically energizable levitation coil in the stator.
