摘要： A spring loaded diamond shaped arbor for use in a saw blade. The arbor includes comprised of a diamond shaped plate having four peripheral side walls with four corners therebetween that separate the four side walls. The arbor has a central opening that is configured and adapted to allow the arbor to be attached to a power tool. A slot extends from the central opening through one of the side walls or corners so that the arbor can easily be inserted into and removed from a saw blade. The slot allows the arbor to be compressed like a spring and be retained within the central opening in the saw blade.

The radiused edges of the metal shelving serve a dual function of stiffening the shelving and providing a receiver for arms projecting from the connector. The connector preferably has resilient tabs which are captured in apertures in the receivers. The connector can be advantageously formed from injection molded ABS plastic.

摘要： A bus bar connecting device according to the invention comprises a clamper for clamping first and second bus bars disposed to extend at an angle with each other. The clamper is preferably electrically conductive to permit passage of an electric current therethrough. The second bus bar may have a hole, and a bolt extends through the clamper and the hole of the second bus bar, and screwed into a nut provided on the opposite side of the second bus bar. As the bolt is screwed into the nut, the clamper is pressed against the bus bars, and also presses the first and second bus bars against each other. Preferably, the clamper has linear protrusions at which it is in contact with the bus bars. Because of the pressure contact along the entire linear protrusions, the area of contact is larger than if the contact is made only at a point. The device is provided with a mechanism to prevent shift of the second bus bar in the lateral direction of the first bus bar. Such a mechanism may consist of a step of the clamper. Such a mechanism may additionally consist of a bent end of the second bus bar or a protrusion provided on the second bus bar. Such a mechanism may alternatively be in the form of an elongated dent or groove provided on the first bus bar with which one of the linear protrusions of the clamper is engaged.

One end of one of the members is formed to provide a pair of spaced-apart cylindrical stiffening portions, parallel to, and symmetrical about, the longitudinal axis of the member and joined together by a web. A corresponding slot is formed in the other member to receive this portion. The edge of the slot cooperates with a portion of the other member adjacent the connecting portion to frictionally hold the members together. In accordance with a further feature, the first and second members are factory preassembled. In order to insure that the parts do not come apart during shipping, the stiffening portions at the bottom are expanded by force after insertion of the first member into the slot so that they are larger than the slot to thereby prevent the first member from becoming detached from the second.

摘要： An adapter for connecting tool heads to fiberglass tool handles and for making other fiberglass attachments. An adapter which is preferably formed in two sections is mounted around and over the end of the tool handle. Interlocking means or frictional engagement are provided to hold the adapter in place. The upper portions of the exterior walls of the adapter sections are tapered complementarily to the inwardly tapered upper section of a conventional double tapered tool head opening and are adapted to make frictional engagement therewith. The adapter is capable of being cold molded to a limited degree to make a locking engagement with the tool head adjacent to the midportion of the tool head opening. A plurality of spacers are removably mounted in the adapter sections to compensate for variations in the tool head opening. Molded inserts are also provided so that a single adapter can be used on two different standard sizes of tool handles.
