    • PURPOSE: A torsional vibration damper is provided to improve the quality of a damper pulley and assemblability by firmly and easily assembling a torsional vibration damper pulley with a sufficient welding force. CONSTITUTION: A torsional vibration damper a hub(2), a disk(4), a rim, a rubber layer(6), and a ring member(8). The hub is equipped with a center hole(3) in the center for joining a crankshaft. The hub is concavely formed by one side. The disk is integrally formed with the hub for being outwardly extended. The joint of the outer side of the hub and the disk is formed with a polygonal groove(10) in the size of containing the hub. The rim is curvedly extended from the outer end of the disk. The rubber layer is attached to the outer side of the rim and is shaped into a ring. The ring member is mounted on the outer side of the rubber layer.
