    • A film holding cassette comprises a frame having film holding means for receiving and holding a photographic plate in a first position in the frame. The frame has track means for receiving a substantially light proof front cover plate for movement between a first position substantially overlying one side of the photographic plate, and a second position adjacent the first position wherein the cover plate does not overlie the photographic plate. The track means also receives a substantially light-proof back cover plate for movement between a first position substantially overlying the other side of the photographic plate to protect the photographic plate from exposure, and a second position adjacent the first position wherein the cover plate does not overlie the photographic plate to allow entry and removal of the photographic plate from the film holding means. The front cover plate includes means for detachably engaging its front edges to a light filter means associated with a camera, so that the light filter means occupies the first position substantially overlying one side of a photographic plate when the front cover plate is in its second position.

    • A photographic print and developing tray which is designed to removably connect to the bottom of a base of a photographic enlarger. The photographic enlarger is to utilize a photographic transparency which is to be projected onto an unexposed photographic print paper mounted within the photographic print and developing tray. The photographic print and developing tray defines a tray housing upon which is mounted a removable cover. Associated with the tray housing is a locking arrangement to tightly secure the cover to the tray housing when in the closed position to prevent the conducting of any light within the internal chamber of the tray housing. There is also a separate latching means connected between the tray housing and the cover which becomes engaged when the cover is located in the closed position. The internal chamber is designed to receive a quantity of photographic print developing liquid. The liquid is to be supplied to the internal chamber through a separate container. This container includes a spout which is to tightly engage in a light-tight manner with a flanged sleeve arrangement mounted on the cover.

    • In a process and an apparatus for the exposure and development of photographic images according to the dye diffusion process a monosheet material is used, the laminated structure of which is divided by a layer which is impermeable to light but permeable to moisture into a photosensitive side of the sheet for image-wise exposure and a non-photosensitive side for observation and supplying the activator or developer solution. The said monosheet material is exposed image-wise in the dark and the photosensitive side then sealed in a light and moisture proof manner in a development apparatus in which the non-photosensitive side of the monosheet lies open and is exposed to an activator in daylight so that the image formation takes place visibly. Once the image quality has been achieved the development is stopped by removing the activator and by subsequent rinsing. The monosheet is dried in a conventional manner but only on one side.

    • A photographic developing tank is described to aid in processing light-sensitized photographic materials such as paper, plates, or film. The tank is formed as a unitary body structure having an enclosed water cavity extending between and defined by integral walls of the tank structure. A top wall of the structure includes two or more indentations to form integral photographic processing trays. The indentations extend downwardly into the water cavity to bottom walls that are spaced upwardly from the unitary base wall of the tank. Drain passageways extend from the indentations outward through the cavity to the exterior of the tank. Petcocks are provided at the outer ends of the passageways to allow individual drainage of the fluid contents from the respective trays. Inlet and discharge ports are provided that enable water to flow through the water cavity. The water while in the water cavity completely surrounds the peripheral walls of the indentations as well as the bottom walls thereof. The indentation walls are of uniform thickness so heat is transferred evenly through the walls to the processing chemicals held within the indentations. Consequently the chemicals in the various trays are held to the same temperature to improve the photographic developing process.
