    • PURPOSE: A headrest for a vehicle is provided to facilitate the manual operation of a headrest by pressing the pushing button of a manual operation part, pushing a stationary gear, and separating the stationary gear from a worm. CONSTITUTION: A headrest (1000) for a vehicle comprises an elevation supporting part (100), a first bar (200), a moving frame (300), a main body (400), an automatic power transmission (500), and a manual controller (900). The elevation supporting part is installed on the top end of a backrest and allowed to be elevated. The first bar is fixed to the elevation supporting part and is extended in a lateral direction. The moving frame is installed on the first bar to linearly move in the front and rear direction of a vehicle and to rotate along the circumference of the first bar. The main body surrounds the moving frame and moves along with the moving frame. The automatic power transmission is installed inside the main body to operate the moving frame to linearly move or rotate with respect to the first bar. The automatic power transmission comprises a stationary gear (510), a first motor (520), and a worm. The manual controller is combined in the moving frame and moves the stationary gear in the longitudinal direction of the first bar. The manual controller comprises a push rod (910) and a push button (920).
