摘要： A fixing device includes a rotatable endless fixing belt, a pressure rotator, a nip formation pad, a lubricant impregnated member, and restrictors. The pressure rotator contacts an outer circumferential face of the fixing belt. The nip formation pad is disposed at an inner circumferential side of the fixing belt, to contact the pressure rotator via the fixing belt to form a nip. The lubricant impregnated member is disposed on the nip formation pad to contact an inner circumferential face of the fixing belt. The lubricant impregnated member is impregnated with lubricant. The restrictors, each disposed at an inner side than each end in a width direction of the fixing belt, regulate movement of the lubricant adhering to the fixing belt, toward each end of the fixing belt in the width direction. The restrictors have a lower absorbability of the lubricant than an absorbability of the lubricant impregnated member.

摘要： A fixing device includes a heat generator being disposed inside a loop formed by a rotator and including a heat generating portion to radiate radiant heat. A reflector is disposed inside the loop formed by the rotator and includes a reflection face to reflect the radiant heat radiated from the heat generator toward the rotator. A support supports the reflector. A holder holds each lateral end of the support in a longitudinal direction of the support, which is perpendicular to the rotation direction of the rotator. A fastener attaches the reflector to the support at an attachment position disposed at each lateral end of the reflector in a longitudinal direction of the reflector. The attachment position is disposed outboard from a lateral edge of the heat generating portion of the heat generator and disposed inboard from the holder in the longitudinal direction of the reflector.

The nip formation pad is disposed at an inner circumferential side of the fixing belt, to contact the pressure rotator via the fixing belt to form a nip. The lubricant impregnated member is disposed on the nip formation pad to contact an inner circumferential face of the fixing belt. The lubricant impregnated member is impregnated with lubricant. The restrictors, each disposed at an inner side than each end in a width direction of the fixing belt, regulate movement of the lubricant adhering to the fixing belt, toward each end of the fixing belt in the width direction. The restrictors have a lower absorbability of the lubricant than an absorbability of the lubricant impregnated member.

摘要： In an initial state where a push rod is pressed down, a base of a movable contact point board supporting a movable contact point makes contact with inclined protruding portions of a moving block by a second spring to be inclined. When the movable contact point makes contact with a fixed contact point following the projecting of the push rod, the base makes contact with stoppers. Thereafter, since the moving block alone rises, the movable contact point board rotates following the end edges of the stoppers according to release of the pressing by the protruding portion. Thereby the movable contact point largely slides and is displaced to the fixed contact point.
