    • A nucleic acid probe set includes (A) a fluorescent probe and (B) a binding probe. The fluorescent probe (A) is formed of an oligonucleotide including (a) a nucleotide labeled with a fluorescent substance. The binding probe (B) is formed of an oligonucleotide having (b1) a fluorescent probe binding region, to which the fluorescent probe (A) can hybridize, and (b2) a target nucleic acid binding region, which can hybridize to a target nucleic acid (C). The nucleic acid probe set is designed such that, when the fluorescent probe (A) hybridizes to the fluorescent probe binding region (b1) and the target nucleic acid (C) hybridizes to the target nucleic acid binding region (b2), guanine in the target nucleic acid (C) and the fluorescent substance (d) labeled on the nucleotide (a) interact with each other to change a fluorescent character of the fluorescent substance (d). The nucleic acid probe can be furnished without needing preparing a fluorescently-labeled, costly nucleic acid probe specifically for every target nucleic acid.

    • An engine powered machine is provided with a high-performance exhaust gas purification system and is capable of promptly raising a temperature of an operator's cab to a comfortable temperature. The exhaust gas purification system that makes use of an NOx removal catalyst and a reducing agent is provided with a reducing agent heater for heating a reducing agent, which is stored in a reducing agent tank, with heat of an engine cooling medium and an on/off device for controlling an introduction of the engine cooling medium into the reducing agent heater. When a temperature of the engine cooling medium is higher than a first predetermined temperature, a temperature of the reducing agent in the tank is lower than a second predetermined temperature and a temperature in an operator's cab is lower than a third predetermined temperature, a controller switches the on/off device into a dosed state to increase a flow rate of the engine cooling medium to be guided to a heat exchanger of a heating apparatus.

    • [Problem] To provide a steering system for a construction vehicle, which is suited not only for traveling on general roadways but also for work at construction sites and can perform high-reliability steering control.[Solution] A steering system for a construction vehicle is provided with a directional control valve 5 for controlling a flow of pressure oil to body-articulating hydraulic cylinders 2 that perform steering and also with a steering-wheel-operated signal generation means 6 for outputting by operation of a steering wheel 7a a pilot signal to the directional control valve 5 for switching the valve 5. The steering system is also provided with a lever-operated signal generation means for producing by operation of a lever 10a a pilot signal to switch the directional control valve 5, said lever-operated signal generation means including pressure-proportional solenoid valves 12a,12b or the like, selector valves 13a,13b switchable to permit selectively outputting the pilot signal from one of the signal generation means to the directional control valve 5, and an automated switching means for switching the selector valves 13a,13b such that upon operation of the steering wheel 7a, the pilot signal from the steering-wheel-operated signal generation means 6 can be preferentially outputted to the directional control valve 5.
